In a bold business move rooted in questionable branding foresight, Jeffrey Gagnon, the proud (and slightly exasperated) owner of Jeff’s Inviting Food & Spirits, is now looking to hand over the reins, but only to someone who shares his first name.
“I didn’t really think through the name when I opened the place,” Gagnon admitted. “Honestly, my first mistake was choosing a name that doesn’t even fit on a business card. Now, I’m stuck trying to find another Jeff willing to buy it. Turns out, that’s a much smaller pool than I expected.”
Gagnon’s name-specific sales strategy has hit a snag: not many restaurateurs named Jeff are knocking down his door. And while he could consider expanding the criteria, he’s not thrilled about it.
“If I can’t find a Jeff, I guess I could settle for a Jim, John, or even a Jane,” he sighed. “But honestly, this really sucks.”
